"I always felt like they cared about me and they were always ready to answer any questions I had."

I was a government employee (State of Arizona) for 25 years. I enjoy travel, and family gatherings. In October 2009 I developed an infection in the right buttocks, during surgery, my surgeon discovered cancer and referred me to John Kresl, MD at Phoenix Cyberknife and Radiation Oncology Center, (PCROC). He was very knowledgeable, encouraging, personable, and comforting. Dr Kresl worked closely with my Surgeon and Medical Oncologist to develop a treatment plan involving Chemo and Radiation Therapy to begin immediately. I felt this treatment plan was specific for me and my cancer.

At PCROC I was treated on the Truebeam STx. Dr Kresl explained to me that through this technology, they could zero in on specific areas to radiate the tumor with minimal damage to the surrounding tissue. I was initially scheduled for 25 radiation treatments, and due to the Chemotherapy side effects, this took 6 weeks.

The entire PCROC staff were warm, sensitive, and considerate at all times. They made me feel that they were only one phone call away, if needed.
